“So, we’re finally alone. I’ve wanted to see you for a long time but your father had always been so protective of you.” Elizabeth spoke in such a serious manner, her expression, her mannerisms, her voice… all of it… it was so different than several moments ago.
“Oh, alright.” I was a bit dazed, surely there was no reason to be confused, most people had two sides to them and yet the clear and stark difference between the two seemed to amaze me each time.
