Tom was sitting at his desk once again, staring at the calendar and wondering where the time had gone.
Josh had settled in and was enjoying Savannah.
Tom and Jack had spent hours discussing January. They were concerned about her behavior—she seemed to be intent on going through the male population of Savannah—but she was an adult, and there wasn’t much they could do except be there for her when she inevitably walked away from another relationship.
Now there was Rush. Seeing him get more and more nervous as the date for his oldest brother’s wedding approached had them feeling helpless.
It was Thaddeus who hatched a plan: Rebecca would go as Rush’s “date.”
