I take an take an unnecessarily large breath of air before before opening my eyes, finding myself
to be startled by the sight of three people looking down on me.
One wears a doctor's coat, another wears the nurses uniform, and then there's Christian.
He smiles when I meet his eyes and I immediatley feel his hand wrap around mine. A slight tinge
of pain courses through my arm as it's moved and I avert my gaze to a needle in my arm,
following the tube to a water bag hanging on a drip rack.
"How are you feeling Ms. Sinclair?"
I look at the doctor who ignores the nurse as she walks out and I frown at him.
"Why am I here?"
