Hell

Everyone goggled over out of nowhere. They couldn't concentrate. They still seem unsettled when they heard Carmilla’s confession about Trench Dickman and her father, Zyrender Everdeen. It was nerve wracking and they craved to convince themselves that it was just a mere hoax that Carmilla was making for them. But, it isn’t. It’s the truth that is hard to swallow. Cody escalated from his seat and went to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water. He immediately took a gulp on and didn’t bother to stop, not until it was finished. He could feel his hands getting numb and his frustration is firing inside him. Guilbert suddenly decided to break the silence. He knew that regardless of how gruesome things are right now, they need to move. Era needs to push and they yearn to make a decision for them all. His voice fret as he gripped both of his hands. “When I think about it, it’s really hard to assume. But just after what you confessed to us, it made me wonder why your father needed to do it behind our backs. When Mr. Elikai died, it was also because of the flower. And, Jack Rush was the one who took the blame out of it. But…But if we try to think outside the crate, we could bind the dots easily.” He pondered. Everyone is staying for his next explanation and kept themselves in hush. “You said that Jack Rush had met your father once when Penelope was still reigning. We don’t know about what they really conversed during that time, but days after that we saw that the Informant had died in his house.” “What are you speaking about, Guilb?” Loshiana catechized him with such agitation in her tone and the way she looked at things. They all need clues to keep them from continuing. Everything is just so fed up that it had intertwined like wires and strings. “Do you want to know what I’m guessing right now? All that I want you to notice is that…there is someone who’s instructing the hunter to take further actions not just Penelope Hamington. And the only person that I could think of now is your father again, Carmilla.” He narrowed his sight to her and she clearly understood that everyone is blaming Zyrender. In fact, deep inside she starts to believe in what they’re asserting and it’s hard to confide her father now. “I think you’re right in that part…I could say that he has the compulsion when in terms of the remaining flower. He wanted to possess it for certain reasons and I know that it will be for himself….I-I didn’t hope that he would commit such aspect between the others and especially me.” She lowered her head and looked at the tip of her worn-out shoes. Vixen moved near to her and started to comfort her by soothing her head slowly. Cody butted in and joined them once again in the chatter. He had hoped that Miguel is here with them to analyze the situation more. His mind is working well on these kinds of topics. “When he left a while ago, he told me that I don’t need to wait for him until evening and just take dinner by myself for the reason that he needed to go to the Highburn Laboratory to clean the facility completely after he visits the Forest. He wanted to know the real situation there, especially regarding the escape of Penelope,” She augmented. “Wait. He’s there right now?” Cody implored. Carmilla shook in feedback and answered, “Yes. He’s there to talk with Ian. Probably going to do plans with the man in order to capture the woman back again.” “Hmmm. Not to sound rude, but I think that Mr. Zyrender is the spy on us.” Cody commented. “I think of that too, knowing that he also wanted us to search for the flower and he kept asking if we did take a message from Carmilla about the secret passage and the new place. Now, I can see that he’s being nosy to everything that he’s being connected to.” Vixen uttered. “Like he wanted to protect certain things when we have them already. It’s like manipulating us.” Carmilla asserted too. Now, all of them are slowly speculating in one thing and are making their way to the same motive. Even so, it was hard for Carmilla to bear what’s happening through and between her own family. “What’s your venture now?” Guilbert asked her. She thought for a while. She was about to say something when a knock suddenly stopped them from the door and interrupting their conversation. Vixen volunteered herself to deal it and when she committed, Leovander appeared in front of her vivaciously. Everybody look to the man as he offered an exhilarating smile to each one of them. The sun is slowly setting itself to sleep and the heavens just turned into pink and orange. But it’s not the thing that caught their attention, but it's the person standing straight behind Leovander. A smirk was obvious when they discerned the presence and decided to proceed slowly to the side for them to see who it is. And when Leovander moved completely, their expression altered swiftly and they were all surprised to see him. His hands were marked by those heavy bats and the chains from someone on his tattooed wrists and feet as if he tried to have a breakthrough from the cell. His eyes were intimidating and they admitted that the man didn’t bring a pup but it was a lion. A hunter. He was a king to his own and they know that it will be hard to tame this one. A smirk was slowly curved on his lips and talked to them once again, “It’s nice to meet you all.”
