Against Farewell

I believed that what’s tough is one that comes from my gloom. I cannot see it all – everything that’s happening, unless I go to the territory. Obscurity might be a fascinating thing for me to have, but it is also a loathsome one. We’re able to obtain it, and what’s more atrocious are those whom we dealt in such solitude. It's a portrait of our deeds which are indiscernible in the eyes of many – the same with those who’re our foes. Looking over such scenery, my soul curled into a ball as how devastated the others. Their houses were dimmed on flames and only a few of them have managed to get their stuff. The fire continued to lavish everything. We saw them, being chased by the slayers, went on their feet to Embreal City, but we didn’t believe for such a thing to happen – the surface quaked loud and slowly, in front of the city, it crumbed a thick crystal clear layer that had engulfed the city, moving to the topmost of it and touched the other side. The people coming from the forest begged it to be stopped as they fled there as fast as they. Some were able to get inside using the teleportation strength but it was not enough to save all of them. Those who reside inside the city went near the layer, touching their hands as they fixed over those who’re running for their lives to get in, but it was hopeless after all. The dome had been set back again and locked the city! Why is this happening all of a sudden? When the people reached Embreal, they couldn’t get inside anymore and pleaded to let them get in. Everyone had seen how they clamored for help. They were left without a choice but to face those who’re tracking them. The kids were forced to fight with their parents and used their skills. Some activated their cloning, visibility, fire, elasticity and more, but it seemed that it’s not making any damage to their enemies. Clearly, they’re on boost just like those that the Candyman had given to the children before. “D*mnit! Secure everyone who’s still here and kill those who bombarded us!” Ian screamed to his guards and everyone scattered to fight once again. Carmilla suddenly appeared in front of us with a wound on her cheek. It was dribbling blood but she simply brushed it off with her hand. “I can’t find the kids and Aunt Liech…” She worriedly stated. I exhaled viciously and glanced around. I used my clairvoyance to search for them but there were no traces of them. Everything is getting heavier as time goes by! The fact that we still get no chance to go to Favia to have things done with her and now the forest is being attacked, weighed more to our cores. “I’m going to look for them.” I uttered. “I’ll go with you.” Cody spoke. “Where’s Loshiana by the way?” “She went with Miguel. I think they have Mariella roaming around the place.” Carmilla mumbled and scrutinized over the city. “What just happened? Why is the dome standing once again?! Where are they?” “They didn’t make it inside…” I asserted almost in a whisper. “I guessed your father gave us another surprise.” I literally eyed at her with a dead expression. She examined it once again and saw a bloodcurdling situation. Carmilla couldn't believe that her father closed it and she held her fists tight. Her eyes narrowed. “We got to move now.” I said to them and conceded. We left and let them deal with the foes. We determined to go back to Embreal but when we’re still on the way home, we heard a gambling laugh coming from the contrast behind those thick bushes and oak trees, but more to that there were soft wails of someone. We hurriedly went to it and testified Hannah glowing immensely as she was sitting beside her brother, tied on the tree. Matt was on her lap, doesn't know what’s happening. I felt bad for the three of them for experiencing this. They don’t deserve this! They were whining hard as they begged to the man who’s standing in front of them, smirking like a mad dog. He’s clearly enjoying how he’s torturing the kids. He knelt on his knees and cupped Hannah’s face. “I don’t get it why he didn’t get rid of you two.” He chuckled. “You seemed so useless.” He whispered to the child. “You’re lucky that he let you alive. I have a special gift for you. It will be fun just to see it.” He added and slowly stepped back letting them see their own mother. My eyes went large when I saw her. I couldn’t help but to gasp and covered my mouth! Aunt Liech… Tears began to fall down on my cheeks. My heart was aching. My feet began to shake and I couldn’t understand what I am feeling right now. But for sure, I wanted to kill him! I wanted him to know how forbidding it is to face death with himself! Cody was crying badly beside me as he kept himself quiet at all cost. Suddenly, I decided to appear myself out of the bushes and sprinted vaguely to the man. Tears were flowing down fast as I aimed my weapon to him. My eyes glinted as I scanned him. His strength was poison just like what Kinzel got. He purposely let Aunt made a wound out of him for his blood to flow and it had transferred to Aunt Liech, or maybe he did wiped it off on her like an outlandish one. He was surprised by my sudden appearance, making him stumbled back away from me. He cackled heavily as he covered his body with his own blood, dripping on his clothes. I winced just by seeing him. “I see…you got some company here.” He grinned. Cody sprung himself and went to the kids immediately. He untied them and held them on his backs. Macky was slightly conscious while the baby was in his arm. “Get them away from here.” I coldly said. I saw Cody concurred and presently paced back with them where Guilbert and the others are located. We clearly couldn’t enter the city right now since it was closed by its dome feature. When they completely left the scene, it’s the time for me to use all that I got. I might be having the strength to see the future, I wanted to get a glimpse of what’s waiting for me with this man. I sneered to it. I saw him dashed and smeared off his blood on his razor-sharp axe. He slashed it upon me but I was able to swerve it and quivered my dagger in return, ripping his fingers. I was conscious in making him bleed because his blood is fatal to me. A tiny drop of it might cause my life to end. But, Kinzel was able to teach me some things on how to get rid of someone who has a special strength like her.
