Entry 1 – Hope

238 Words
Hope is that feeling of believe, and maybe a little pride too, that something will happen out of nothing. That somehow, against the odds, something unseen will find its way into reality. when no one is looking, when no one is listening, when no one is coming through. When everywhere, everything, everyone - every possible reality that could lead to your expectation, seems impossible, seems silent, seems unfeasible. When nothing around shows positive signs. Yet you hope, because… hope is daring. Hope comes with productivity and courage, mostly huge, daring ones. It’s like staring hard at a tiled floor, waiting for a tree to sprout out of it. You can’t just hope. It comes with such amusing and positive audacity. It’s that inner voice that refuses to die, even when silence grows loud around you. Hope doesn’t need applause. It doesn’t wait for proof. It only needs a reason to keep believing, and sometimes, that reason is just… wanting it to be true, it's joy of seeing it manifest, knowing your belief was true. Hope is the arrogance of light in a room that swears it’s dark. Hope is a dare. You dare to hope. You dare to dream of a future, of a result, of something that seems out of reach. But because you want it - and you are willing to take on the bold step of hoping first - you are already halfway into it.
