Jamie kissed her gently. It was sudden and unexpected and Camden didn't quite know what to do besides let it happen to her. She was surprised by how gentle he was, as if she was some soft, delicate flower that he wanted to hold and cherish in spite of having big, clumsy hands. He broke away, looking at her face, searchingly. She blushed, looking away shyly. "Did you feel anything?" he asked. She nodded, "It's like butterflies," Camden said, which was not entirely untrue. The mate bond felt way more intense though, but he'd obviously never experienced it to compare. "Did you?" she asked, curious and nervous to know what he might say.
