Camden sat in silence on the dusty, worn-out couch, her gaze fixed on the darkness as it saturated outside, seeping through the dusty windows. As she watched she observed the flickering glow of a colossal bonfire, its warmth unable to reach her confined space. Jake and Kai moved about the hunting lodge, lighting candles to provide some kind of illumination inside. As Camden's adrenaline began to ebb away, so too did her warmth. She pulled her feet up on the couch, crossing her ankles and pulling her knees into her chest to try and conserve warmth in her still naked body. "I'm cold," she whispered, looking at Kai, hoping he would take pity on her. He sighed and left the room, returning with a musty blanket which he tossed to her.
