Derek's POV
Emily's words left me momentarily speechless. Is she crazy? What is going on in her mind? The request she just made is beyond anything I could have expected.
"You want me to sleep with you?" I ask, needing confirmation of her statement, hoping that I misheard her.
"Yes, Derek. I will be your wife eventually, so just do this for me and make me your true Luna," she pleads, desperation evident in her voice.
"Stop! Stop all this, Emily. I cannot sleep with you," I respond, my annoyance seeping into my tone.
"Why can't you sleep with me? Is it because of that human?" she says, anger lacing her words. "She is nothing but a pathetic human who betrayed your trust and deceived our entire clan," she adds, her voice filled with resentment.
