I headed towards my car, and I drove towards the mansion. It took me an hour to reach Christof's mansion.

Before entering the Mansion I was greeted by the other guards and maids.

"Where is Christof, he is still in his room?", I asked the older maid.

"Yes sir, mr Nelson is in his room, I met him in the morning he had scolded one of the maids, because she was arguing with him", the maid replied.

"She must be the maid hired by christof's mom", I replied.

"Yes sir she is the same maid hired by Mr Nelson's mom, she tries to boss around here", the maid replied.

"Keep an eye on her, anything fishy about her report it to me, because there can be anyone here who can harm Christof, we can't trust anyone especially the unknown servants who are kept by his mom", I replied.

"Don't worry sir I have kept an eye on every maid and worker, Mr Nelson is safe, because I didn't find anything fishy till now they all are clean", she replied.

"Okay, did Christof have his breakfast, did he leave his room or he has still locked himself inside?", I asked her.

"No sir, he had his breakfast and I myself served him in his room, don't worry he is okay, he told me not to let anyone in his room because he wants to complete some pending work, and he would not like Anyone to disturb him mr jared", she replied.

"But I need to talk to him regarding work, he cannot lock himself inside the room the entire time, it's not good for his health, I know if I enter his room now he will get angry, but I am doing this for his good, so please excuse me", I replied.

"I am so sorry sir but I can't let you in now, strict orders from mr nelson, he told me not to let anyone in his room so I am just obeying his command, I am sorry Mr Jared but you can't enter me nelsons room, he told me if he needs anything he will ring the bell present in his room so when he rings the bell I will let you in till then I cannot you need to wait mr jared, please bare with me", she replied.

"I know you are obeying his command but I am his bodyguard and friend so I need to know if he is okay inside, so please let me in or else I need to take actions against you, and I would really not like to do that, so please clear the way, I want to meet Christof now, I have important business to deal with, so please try to understand", I replied.

"If I let you in now sir, Mr Nelson will get furious and he might remove me from this job, I have kids to take care of and I have loans in my name, I cannot lose this job, because I am getting a good pay, and I am not well educated to get a good job, if I work in some other place the pay will be less, so please Mr Jared try to understand, and Mr Nelson's mood is off these days, he gets angry really very fast, and he can remove me from this job, not only me he will remove the other workers too, so please Mr Jared try to understand my situation, and you will not be able to save our job, because you will not be in the condition to make Mr Christof understand, please think you can also lose your friendship", she replied.

"I can't understand why everyone is questioning my friendship with Christof, unknown people too, why are you guys bothering so much, I will not lose my friendship with Christof", I replied.

"Sir everyone knows about the arguments between you and mr nelson, every one present here keeps on gossiping, there are rumors about you and mr Christof '', she replied.

"What kind of rumors?", I asked her.

"There are rumors that your friendship with Mr Christof is not going to last fir a long time, people are saying that Mr Christof will soon break his friendship with you and he might remove you from this job, and we all can see that mr Christof doesn't trust you anymore", she replied.

"Christof trusts me, it's just that his mood is off these days, he cannot understand what is right and what is wrong, if anyone tries to make him understand he gets furious, which is really bad for him, and I am sure that when time passes he will understand, so people will gossip for one or two days and later they will forget about this so I don't care about the gossips", I replied.

"It's your wish Mr jared, but for now I cannot let you in his room, I cannot risk my job", she replied.

"Okay fine I won't enter his room now, but if he doesn't leave his room in an hour or two, I will enter his room, no matter what happens", I replied.

"It's better for you not to enter the room Mr jared, Mr Nelson would get furious, I am just warning you, it might affect your relationship with Mr Nelson, please try to understand Mr jared", she replied.

"You are just a worker here, you have no right to tell me what should I do and what should I not, Christof is my friend and I know what is best for him, I would not like a third person to enter our lives, so you better stay away, you have no right to judge our friendship, I know that you are one of the loyal workers here, and you worked for so many years for mr nelson, so please know where your place belongs, I am sorry that I spoke rudely to you, but I hate when someone tries to interfere in my personal matters", I replied.

"It's your call Mr jared, I did my duty by trying to make you understand but you are not trying to understand I cannot do anything, I have a lot of work, so I will better continue with it, and yes please enter the room when Mr Nelson rings the bell, he has kept a bell near him, he will use it today, so if he needs anything he will ring the bell, he gave me all the orders, he told me to tell you that there are many pending files you need to have a look at them and he told you to handle any important meeting that will be held today, because he will not be able to attend them, and yes she told you to give all the important instructions for the new secretary, because she is new she doesn't know anything much here,she needs guidance", the maid replied.

"What else did Christof tell you to tell me?", I asked her.

"Nothing else sir, he just told me not to let you in his room, so I followed his orders by not letting you in '', she replied.

"At Least can I enter his room just to check if he is okay, because I am worried about him", I replied.

"Mr Nelson is okay, I just checked on him a few hours ago, he is busy working, I can assure you that, don't worry about Mr Nelson", she replied.

"I wanted to ask another question", I said.

"Yes you can mr jared", she replied".

"Did he have any visitors today, Anyone named as Carlos?", I asked her.

"No sir, mr Nelson didn't have any visitors today, are you asking me about the guy who came last night to meet mr nelson?", She asked me.

"Yes.. yes the same guy, did he come here to meet Christof", I asked her.

"No sir he didn't, no one came to meet him today", she replied.

"Okay thank you so much", I replied.

"No problem mr jared, I will leave now I have plenty of work to complete", she replied.

"Yes you can", I replied.

The maid left to complete her work.

But I couldn't just listen to that maid, i was worried about Christof, I wanted to know if he was okay, because I know that christof was disturbed and he can do anything, he can also harm himself, he have tried to hurt himself so many times, and I was present there when he tried to do such things, I couldn't leave him alone in his room, but I didn't know how to keep a check on him.

I had to do something but I didn't know what to do, I had to not let Christof know that I was keeping a check on him, I sat in the living area for some time.

After a few seconds I got a call from anna.

"Heyy baby, is everything okay?", I asked her.

"Yes darling everything is okay", she replied.

"I asked you this question because usually you don't call me when I am at work", I replied.

"I gave you a call to ask you if everything is okay there, did you talk to Christof, is he okay?", She asked me.

"I don't know anna, because Christof has again locked himself in his room, and he is not letting anyone in, the maids here are not letting me in, I never knew that this day would come, that I had to ask a maids permission to enter his room, I am his friend I can enter his room whenever I want", I replied.

"Don't t get angry jared baby, the maids are just doing their work, Christof must have td them not to let anyone in, and you know that are workers and the bodyguards there are afraid of him, so you need to understand this they are just trying to save their jobs", Anna replied.

"I seriously can't understand why Christof is acting like this, he is not acting like himself, it feels like he is a completely different person now, he doesn't listen to me, he throws tantrums, he used to listen to me but now he is not, I don't know how to make him understand if he keeps acting stubborn", I replied.

"You need to be patient with Christof Jared, you know that he is hurt, so this kind of behaviour is expected from him, I know he will get better soon, he just needs some time, amd jared you need to wait for that time to come, I don't why but I am getting feeling that everything is going to change very soon, and Christof is soon going be okay, like how he used to be before", she Replied.

"I am just waiting for that day to arrive anna, and I am praying that day should arrive soon, I want the old Christof, everyone here knows about the misunderstanding between us, they are trying to teach me how to maintain my friendship with Christof, the maids here are trying to teach me anna", I replied.
