Mallory came to a stop, staring at Callum who slowed to look over his shoulder at her. She slowly shook her head. “Two hundred gold pieces to turn back time for one week. We’d need two grand for a week.”
Danae also stopped, turning to look at Mallory. “You’re including me for the potions?”
“You’re in our group too,” Brodie said. “And we’ll need potions for Fang and Smudge. Or we will eventually. When they’ve grown up.”
Ryan returned to Mallory’s side, slipping his hand in hers and tugging her forward. “I guess now we know what we’re going to be spending the money, we make from the drakes, on.”
“That’s if we manage to make money on them.” Mallory couldn’t prevent herself from glancing at her brother’s knee. Obviously, things could go wrong.
