Mallory went through all the items they’d found. As well as the mage robe and five knuckles, there was also two gold, six silver and eleven copper pieces, two stilettos, a silver armband that Danae said might be enchanted, two essence Danae told them were an alchemy ingredient but didn’t know what potion they were used in, full leather leg armour that Callum teased Brodie he’d needed days ago and also a spell.
Mallory unrolled the parchment. “Vanish I. Twenty-five mana and it lasts for one minute on target.”
“On target means you could use it on anyone or thing, including yourself,” Danae said.
“Use it on me,” Brodie said.
Mallory slowly shook her head at her brother’s enthusiasm, putting the parchment in her satchel. “I’m still healing everybody. I don’t have the mana to waste.”
