Bai Bing Wen almost immediately jolts out of the bed to walk towards Ji Feng Huang. But when he does, the weakness of his body takes its toll on him and he falls as soon as he stands on the floor.
“Xiao Bing!” Meng Zhang exclaims, running towards Bai Bing Wen. He’s about to touch him and help him up when a hand suddenly appears right in front of him.
“I got this,” Ji Feng Huang says with a grave tone.
Bai Bing Wen looks up to see his blue eyes glowing and glaring at Meng Zhang.
“Can I borrow him, Your Highness?” Ji Feng Huang asks with frosty eyes.
“What is wrong with you?” Meng Zhang cluelessly asks.
“Ah, I’ll tell you about it but for now, let’s...” Ling Guang doesn’t even finish what he wants to say and just pulls on Meng Zhang’s arm.
