Kesha’s POV*
Kesha felt like she could finally breathe until she locked eyes with a beautiful woman with penetrating violet eyes. “It cannot be, how is this possible?” Everyone’s attention switched to Kesha walking up to Violet. No one said a word, waiting to see what Keisha was going to say.
Their eyes remained locked on one another; Violet closes the distance between them as her eyes begin to glow brighter than usual. “I would assume you know something about me that I do not, or do you know what everyone else knows?” Sin comes closer as everyone else sits down on the chocolate brown sofas.
“Kesha, you cannot possibly know Violet, I just freed her from within Shawn’s fur. In his wolf form, his fur is made of jet-black smoke; everyone thought she died when she touched him.” Kesha looks at Sin and sighs, she walks over to Kane and sits down. Sin sat next to Shawn and Violet sat with Thorn holding his hand, unsure of where this was going.
“First, it is an honor to meet you, Violet. I mean no disrespect for how I approached you just now; I am going to tell you all something that may be hard for any of you to believe. As you know, Sin we met as babies in Egypt. However, I was no normal infant. I had the same understanding of language, understanding, and so forth as I do now. I could only walk in the form of a black panther.” Sin’s eyes became huge hearing her best friend say she was a black panther and the fact that she was never really a baby. Kesha continued speaking.
“Minamoto Yoritomo fought in the Gympie war against the Tayra clan back in 1192 A.D. He became the first permanent shogun of Japan. He also set up his Samurai government in Kamakura. At the time of the war, he was an angel, never to interfere with the dealings of humans. His only job was to watch them and report their behavior. I know all this because I met him. Now, before you all bombard me with questions, let me finish first. Tomo, as I like to call him, did not agree with watching the humans continue to kill one another. He was a watcher of Japan. He came to love that place along with its people.
Tomo told me when the war started, he was watching as always when he spotted a little girl. She was no more than six, maybe seven years old. She looked lost and was walking right into the battle unknowing. He could no longer watch; he saved her and fought in the war, but not with his powers. He picked up two katanas.” Kesha closed her eyes as a tear fell, he became known as a fallen angel. They deemed him an outcast, banning him as if he brought chaos. His wings turned jet black. The odd thing is, he is also a siren. He found that out later when Amphitrite called him. Violet, the problem was your mother did not belong to your father, she belonged to Poseidon.
Your mother was the Goddess of the sea. After you were born, Poseidon banished your father to the underworld. Your mother went back into the ocean running until she brought you here to that lagoon. She was protecting you from him. She knew he would kill you or keep you. You are the Enchantress of the sea. You are the only one of your kind. No one said a word, we only looked at Violet in shock. Swallowing, Violet looked at everyone. I never really knew who my parents are. I always wondered who they could be. Somehow, I felt like I may never know, so thank you for telling me it means more than you will ever know. I never really knew what my powers were.
I just knew I was a siren; Thorn stood up, causing the attention in the room to snap to his movements. During my time as a bounty hunter in the underworld, there was always one contract that I wanted to complete, but it always led to a dead end. Thorn looks at Shawn, the contract is to find the fallen angel’s heart. No one really understands that most fallen angels have no heart. They do not show any sort of compassion. The contract does not even give a name for the fallen angel, but it gives his location, which is the bottom of the black sea in the underworld. This may be a long shot, but what if you are the missing heart of the fallen angel violet?
Before anyone could speak about what Thorn had just said, two guards came running into the room gasping for air.
“Alpha, we are sorry to interrupt you this way but there was no time for us to link you. The Elders have forced their way past the Northern borders and are on their way here now.” A menacing growl left Shawn’s lips as he barked orders through the link to certain pack members and instructed Thorn to open a portal to get the women out of the room.
“Shawn, why are you making us leave? We should all be here for this!”
“Sin, I will send a portal to you all, but first I have to give them a piece of my mind. If they choose to be violent, I do not want you anywhere near the fight that will take place here.” Sin felt torn, on what she wanted to do she knew Shawn was right, but she felt that she was supposed to be here not leave. “Okay fine we will wait in the kitchen while you deal with this in your office, but first I really need to tell you what happened with the elders on your 18th birthday.” Everyone stopped moving, Shawn looked at her in shock and confusion as to why she would withhold information from him.
“When I first showed you everything that happened, I also tried to let you hear what I heard them say but for some reason, it did not work. I realized this earlier before dinner. Once you shifted into your wolf, then they all went crazy linking to one another. Somehow, I ended up being linked too, but they did not know I could hear them.” Shawn looked so pale after Sin revealed this; Void finally spoke, looking at Sin, “If what your saying is true Sin, that means you’re an elder. “It is more to it than that, Sin is the first Tribrid to ever exist.” Kesha continued, ‘Sin I am sorry I never told you this it was for your own protection but you are”; before Kesha could finish Sin finished for her
“ I am a pure-blooded Gypsy Witch. The elder’s exact words were: This woman is a direct descendent from the moon goddess herself. Her mother was the first gypsy witch.
Her father was the first hybrid in existence whose parents were mated. A pure-blooded werewolf male, and a pure-blooded vampire female, the princess herself. This means her father is the first Lycan who was forbidden to exist.
Shawn and his mate, whomever she may be, are fated. If they do not complete the mating bond as stated in the prophecy, then the beginning of the apocalypse will be among us. No one said a word after hearing Sin say this, Shawn's eyes instantly turned pitch black. Thorn looked deep into Luna’s eyes. If what the elders say is true, then Sin, before he could finish, the doors burst open, and in walked the elders. Shawn is fuming at the disrespect for his home and mind-links Thorn. Suddenly, the girls are all swallowed into the green portal and are now standing in the theater room, also known as the rec room.
Shawn’s POV
Shawn immediately switched to Alpha's mode and was highly pissed off. His aura was so intense you could feel it all the way to the borders of the land. He did not say a word, he just watched them walk in looking at them all dressed in their black robes. You only see their heads; their robes cover everything else. He watched all their facial expressions. What he was not expecting from any of them was fear. He could smell it radiating from all of them, even the leader who remains nameless. Elder James was brave enough to speak first. We could smell that there were other females in this room. Why are they absent from our presence? Shawn let off a deep growl as he stepped forward in James' face. How about we start with where you have all been since my 18th birthday?
All of you, tread lightly, you are in my home, on my land, without my permission. This discussion will be held in my office. I am sure you all remember the way. Thorn concealed his smirk as he escorted the elders to Shawn’s office. Shawn waited until they all left and began to make his way there and Kane walked beside him, mind-linking to him. I understand how angry you are and you have every right to be, but try and calm down. You are going to want the information that they have. It is vital for all of us. Shawn did not say a word, just looked into Kane’s eyes in understanding.
As they entered the room, Shawn took his seat behind his mahogany desk. Looking at them all in the eyes, “well I am waiting for your explanation on why you all now want to show up”.
The leader began to pace, not making eye contact with Shawn or anyone else in the room. The remaining elders stood by the door watching. “Shawn, the day of your 18th birthday after little Violet lost her life, we headed to the council.” Everyone in the room except the elders went stiff, “I did not see a reason for us to go, since I stated that all you would have to do is find your mate and complete the bond. The council did not like the fact that your mate lives and has been found.” Shawn and everyone else stood ready to fight, growling so loudly the windows burst.
Sin’s POV
The girls have been trying to calm me down. My emotions caused me to release a wave of power, destroying the TV among other things. I had finally relaxed a bit, but I felt we had been sitting here long enough. Sin, I know you are pissed. Just give it some more time. Kesha was trying her best to soothe me, but I could tell she was just as anxious. Getting up off the floor feeling this new sense of confidence washing over me, I felt like it was time I met the elders. We all walked out of the rec room and down the long hall leading to the office’s doors. Making a slow approach, I began to open the door, only to instantly put up a glowing purple shield as the door blew into splinters on contact.
Looking into the room before me, I instantly looked into Shawn’s eyes, seeing Cerberus coming out. I felt it stirring in me again just like before with Matt; within a blink of an eye, I was by Shawn’s side touching his face, running my nails in his beard to calm him. He instantly grabs me and places me on his lap possessively. I can feel all three of them calming at my touch. I turned my attention to the gathering in the room, looking into the stunned faces of the elders. “ Just to make you all aware I am not pleased to see my mate in this state, as you can all see, I am in a defensive state and I would appreciate it if someone would explain to me why this room now looks this way?”
Shawn leans into me and repeats what is said as my aura explodes through the room, making the elders cower in fear. I even felt Shawn stiffen below me. Fighting against this rage I was feeling, I looked at the elders and stood walking to the front side of this massive desk running my nails across the crystal moon on his desk, not breaking contact from their gaze. “Elder Poe is it!?, can you tell me why the council wants me dead?” I am met with silence before I had the chance to speak elder James stepped forward clearly pissed off, screaming “how dare you speak to our leader even worse you spoke his name woman! You are to be punished!” He raised his hand as if he were going to smack me. Something snapped in me; this overwhelming coldness filled me.
