Jess wrapped herself and her group in the veil, jumping the short distance to the small embattled group that were now fighting for their own survival. Sensing a turn in the battle more and more Sundered were popping into the middle of the fight. They fell on those who were defenceless from above and without Cal there to pick them off it was turning into a slaughter.
Without thinking about what she was about to do Jess appeared in the middle of the cluster of Sundered who’d appeared. Throwing her head back Jess drew in power from all around her, to the point she could feel it lick up her arms and body, knew her eyes glowed with power.
