Only pausing long enough to scan the palace, Jess and Kyle appeared before Bennett, who stepped back, startled at their sudden arrival.
“Are you sure you want to do this? Go into the Kastler estate?”
Bennett finished placing one of Kyle’s formal jackets back on a hanger before turning.
“Yes, my lord.”
Nodding at Jess, Kyle swept his long-term servant up with them, dragging him along as they jumped back into the veil, to the meeting room. Kyle watched with interest as Jess reached out and scanned the veil for recent trails. They both knew Simon’s path would be one of them.
