44 Slipup Kyle walked through the town, the third he’d been assigned. A thin slice of the veil hung between him and the village, keeping him from the sight of prying eyes. He walked past the small orderly wooden houses that looked like shadows, not quite substantial. The path he walked on was smooth even though the street he walked down was cobbled. He was here, yet not here. Not quite. This place was small and remote and he couldn’t see why the Order would be here. It would have been a bad tactical move, with no way to hide their presence.
