Kyle looked over as Ryan entered tugging on his vest, looking a little uncomfortable in the formal court gear. He traded glances with both Alex and Jess, who both grinned. That uncomfortable tugging at the vest was a habit they all recognised.
“Best get used to them, Ryan. Your days of being anonymous are over.” Kyle chuckled as Ryan groaned.
“I don’t really need formal recognition or rank. I helped shield the king during the coronation without it.” Ryan looked at Kyle hopefully.
