Chapter 15Aday later I sat at my makeshift desk on the space station. Thefunerals for our department comrades were scheduled for later intheday. We would give them a proper send-off. In our squad, our smallelite group, every soldier becomes a part of you. Their deaths aretragic and heart-rending. That’s another reason why I believed itwas time for retirement.
