Chapter 7ThePattoncame out of warp drive about a thousand miles from the sphere. Isatin the captain’s chair and gazed at the sphere for what seemed thethousandth time. It hadn’t changed a bit. It flowed through spacelike a luxury ship on the ocean, seemingly oblivious to anythingaround us. “Let’s get a little closer, Ms.Alesong.
