Chapter 2 : A New Life

I felt like I am floating in air, among the white clouds the returning golden in the morning sunlight. I opened my eyes and saw a bunch of people in a big room. Among them sit on the jet platform was the middle aged man , he looked much younger may be in his early 20's.

Among others I could not see anyone who look like 6 young boys as earlier. I got it this must be memories , of Liu Shi from this world. Even before I knew what happening , the scenery changed in front of me.

I saw two people working together laughing and chatting under the Red maple leaved trees. One of them was that man in his younger 20 days, but my attention was caught by the other. He too looked like he was in his early twenties. The man was tall, his hair black as the night sky and his dark black eyes twinkling with joy. "You are finally getting married" said the old man who has currently young . "Hmm yeah finally I told her." The other said. "The great dragon king is finally getting married hahaha -" said the 'OLD' man laughing. Before I could grasp a hold of what's happening, the scenery changed.

3 hours letter

I woke up with a screen for the second time that day I was sweating so much that my pillows got all drenched in sweat. I whipped my head to the side to see the boys there still waiting for their sister to wake up

"Liu'er you woke up"

"We were so worried"

"Look at you naughty rabbit. Always hopping around . You are hurt now".

"Aish big bro don't be so harsh. it's okay."

"What okay ? She she could have died."

Started fighting, I giggled which got their attention .They all have to me tightly yet here fully I feel so loved, I have never been so loved before. My parents were always busy ,they didn't have time for me. My so called friends only stayed with me for money. I was surrounded by many people yet so lonely, but this Liu Shi had an amazing family that I love her it's only when they asked me I wiped my tears off.

Hey bunny, why are you crying?"

"No-nothing. I was just moved by how much you all love me." I said as I smiled brightly at them. They giggled and hugged me again.

2 days later -

I was sitting under a tree relaxing . After two days I am allowed to come out of bed. It's been pretty good. Everyone is very friendly. It turns out I have seven elder brothers. Liu Hei is the youngest of them and is 19 years old.

Liu Boqin and Liu Chao are twins and are 20 years old. Liu Bao , Liu Deming and Liu Zhang are triplets and are 22 years old. The eldest of them all - Liu Cheng is 25 years old and he lives in a mountain very far away from here. Uncle Liu said he achieved immortality when he was just 20. Uncle Liu is the master of the house hold and is one of the great cultivator of this kingdom. Aunty Liu died a few years ago from a mysterious disease. She was a kind woman. Alas , I wasn't able to meet her.

My thoughts were interrupted when a maid told me lunch was ready. I smiled at her and sprinted towards the dining hall.

I reached the dinning hall. It was right next to the kitchen. Both the dining hall and kitchen was separated from the main house. I saw all of my brothers and uncle sitting around the table. I smiled and quickly sat on my place.

"Let's begin." Uncle said and we all dug in. The food was so tasty and satisfying. I burped after we completed. Everyone looked at me for a second and then burst out laughing.

When our laughter finally died down uncle cleared his throat and said something amusing. "Liu'er, you're going back to resume your lessons from next week. So now you need to start preparing for it." With that he smiled brightly at us and left for his study. My brothers also had work to be done and so they left after taking their time in patting my head. Liu Zhang accompanied me to my courtyard. As I was about to enter the small gateway, he called out - "Bunny, your 15th birthday is coming. You know when a person becomes 15 they need to test the aura of their powers. And you have to do it in front of the emperor. So be prepared." With that he bowed to me and left.

I was left there alone , trying to process what he said why he looked so stressed.
