As I walked out of the dining area and made my way toward the door, Evelyn's footsteps fastened as she followed behind me.
"Where do you think you are going, James?" She asked angrily, her voice filled with anger and hurt.
My steps came to a pause and I turned to look at her. She stood with her eyes cutting deep into mine as she looked like a time bomb waiting to explode.
