Raina's eyes felt wet as she blinked slowly at Kaila. The woman looked at her with soft eyes as she took a step forward and spoke, "Is that really you?"
Raina rose from the edge of the bed and approached the slightly old woman. She took only a few steps before reaching her and engulfing her in a deep hug. Kaila was shorter so Raina had the side of her face in her hair. "I-I'm... sorry. I'm so sorry."
Kaila froze for a second before hugging her back tightly. "It's okay. Why are you sorry?"
Raina released her from the hug, holding her arm lightly as she looked at her slightly wrinkled face. Her hair was divided into two and loosely plaited on each side. Raina tried to keep her facial features in her memory for some reason.
