Raina came out of the bathroom and walked into the empty room. Lucas had gone and she wasn't so surprised at the disappointment that filled her. Had she been expecting him to stay? Yes. But did she actually want him to have still been on the bed after she came out? No.
She turned to the wardrobe to go get dressed but paused, looking back at the room again. It was neatly arranged. No! Lucas did not tell Kaila to come clean up their mess of the night before, did he?
She slapped her forehead with a sigh. Obviously, he did.
Kaila walked in a second later, bowing in greeting as she found her standing there wrapped in a towel. "Lady Raina."
