"Where is Raina?" He asked again, his voice harder than usual. Kaila only blinked more in confusion. "I... I don't know. I thought she might be with you by now."
By now? What did she mean by that? "Where did she tell you she was going to?"
"She said she was going to go meet you." Kaila began to look worried. Why was she asked this many questions? Was something wrong again. Had she gone missing now?
"Meet me where? I didn't tell you where I was going to." He was on the verge of exploding but he tried to stay calm as she was only an old woman.
"I thought she knew. You both spent the night together so I thought-" She stopped talking as she realized what she was about to say.
Lucas didn't wait for another word as he disappeared from her sight. He ran off as fast he came in, leaving Kaila
