“Is that my phone?” Ty asks, getting up, and I nod. It’s 8:15 am Monday, and Kiara, he, and I are currently sitting on the island. We have just finished having breakfast, but Ty left his phone on the dining table. Cameron and Merlot are still sleeping. After the video, Aiden hasn’t made any more moves, but that hasn’t made us feel any relief. We know it’s only a matter of time before he strikes again, and we haven’t been able to sleep since Saturday.
