I try to stay quiet for as long as possible, sitting in that stuffy room with the guys all focused on their maps, intel, and strategies. They're so into it, and I can’t stand being there any longer. Every second feels like an eternity, the urge to move, to talk, to do something bubbling up inside me. I’m practically vibrating with energy, and I definitely don’t want to get yelled at again for talking too much. Quietly, I sneak out of the room, my heart racing with a mix of excitement and mischief. None of them notice—I’m like a ninja. Maisie, queen of stealth.
