Avery had a subtle glint on her face but she quickly hide it before Hazel noticed the change. Hazel was lost in her own world to notice that the room had become a little bit quiet. “The new market that's opening at the outskirt of the pack” She replied. A confused look could be seen on Hazel's face as she pondered on the new information. A curious expression was seen on Hazel's face. “No I haven't,” Hazel replied. “You need to know more about the affairs of the pack, an upcoming Luna cannot be ignorant by the activities going on within the pack,” Avery said. Hazel rolled her eyes as she could not be bothered by the words that proceeded from Avery's mouth. “What is it going to be like?” She asked. Avery's eyes lit up in excitement. “There are going to be a lot of human wears, human food and things from the human realm, I can't wait to try it out,” Avery said. Hazel had a dumbfounded look on her face as she looked at Avery. “What's the look for?” Avery asked. “Nothing really, your enthusiasm is really off the chart,” Hazel said. “Although it sounded like a lot of fun,” Hazel said. “Let’s go there,” Hazel added. Avery stood up from the bed and performed a mock bow “As you wish your highness,” Avery said. Hazel shook her head and threw the nearby pillow thereby hitting Avery on the head. “What was that for?” Avery hand, gently rubbing the angle where the pillow had touch. Hazel did not answer her as she sighted a nearby pillow, Avery chuckled as she got the code “Pillow fight,” The both of them used the pillows on themselves, a few moment later, they let go of the pillow as they were panting heavily. The atmosphere was solemn for a while. “Did you have any solution to the issue of not transforming?” Avery asked. Hazel turned to look at her, her eyes was filled with questioning gaze. Avery placed her hands on Hazel's shoulders. “You can trust me on this,” She added. Hazel shook her head. “You'll be fine, only the moon goddess knows why it is like that,” Avery said trying to relieve her. A peaceful atmosphere ensure amongst them as each of them was lost in their own world. After a while, Avery glanced at the clock beside the wall. “Let's make a plan to visit the market soon, it would be one of the lessons of exploration,” Hazel nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment. “Definitely,” She said. “I'll meet you there tomorrow afternoon,” She added. Avery grinned. “Sounds like a plan,” Avery said. “I'll see you then,” She added. Just as they were about to intensify their discussion, a knock was heard on the door interrupting their discussion. “Come in,” Hazel said. Hazel heart sank when she realized that it was the royal guard that was on the door. “You are summoned to the council,” The guard said, his deep voice had a hint of politeness in it. An anxious expression could be seen on Hazel's face. “What's going on?” She asked the guard. The guard kept mute and shook his head, Hazel sighed as she knew that the guard was clueless on the agenda of the meeting. “I don't know your highness but you are needed at the council” The guard said after a while. Avery had a concern expression on her face when she saw the worried look on her face. “You will be fine okay,” Avery said. “Be careful,” She added. Hazel nodded, taking a deep breath as she followed the guard out of the room. As they walked, she couldn't help but pondering on what the council will want from her. When they arrived at the council grounds, Hazel turned as greeted by a sea of faces. The room was filled with high-ranked and low-ranked wolf, all of them were looking at her with different expression. Some of them looked at her with disgust, others had a scornful look on their faces. A few of them looked at her with pity, their eyes filled with sadness, the rest of them looked at her with mockery, having a cruel expression on their faces. Hazel felt her sink as she scanned the room. “What had she done to deserve this?” She pondered. She didn't know what the council want from her but she had a feeling that it was not good. The guard led her to the front of the room where the council leader is sitting. He was a beta wolf with piercing yellow eyes. “Hazel, you have been summoned before the council,” The leader said, his voice cold and menacing. Hazel had a terrified look on her face. “Yes….Sir,” she stuttered. The council leader's eyes narrowed. “We received reports on strange occurrences that had been happening in the castle,” He began. “We believe that you are one of the perpetrator of such acts,” He added. Hazel's heart skipped a bit as a trembling expression could be seen on her face. “What are they talking about? What did they think that she had done?” She pondered. “I-I don't know what you are saying,” Hazel stammered as she bowed her head. The council leader's expression turned grave. “Don't play dumb, Hazel,” He said. “We all know about the strange movement in the castle, And we know that you have been sneaking around in the night”. He added. Hazel heart widened as saucers as she heard the information. “Have I been found out?” She pondered.
