Brenda’s POV When Tony and I arrived at the location on the map, the sun had just begun to rise. It was tucked away in the woods, far from the city. I gripped the crumpled message I had received tightly. We had arrived after following the coordinates—miles of forests, shadows, and solitude. Tony looked around and stated, "There's nothing here." "No," I said as I looked at an odd land area close to an ancient oak tree. "There is." He looked after me. There, the ground appeared... strange. Dry. It was slightly cracked, as if something had been hidden beneath it. Tony reached into the car and took out a tiny shovel. He didn't even inquire. He simply began to dig.
