After the ceremony ended, our vehicles quickly arrived to escort us back to the ceremonial hall for the Rite of Rejoicing.
As Thailia and I made our way down Moonflower Hill, family and friends were already waiting for us while the rest of the guests began heading toward the reception hall.
The moment we reached the final step, a wave of cheers crashed into us.
“Whoohoo! Congratulations, Alpha and Luna!”
Alex's voice rang above the crowd.
“So proud of you both!”
Senara practically cried as she rushed forward and threw her arms around us.
“Congratulations, son. Daughter-in-law.”
My father shook my hand before pulling Thailia into a brief embrace.
For a moment, I allowed myself to relax.
