"Shut up and focus, this place is different," David said coldly in a low voice.
They secured a booth, watching the various young bodies twisting to the DJ's rhythm on the dance floor. Olivia leaned against David, asking, "David, why do you think the organization assigned this task to us?"
"Stay away from me."
"David, don't be so serious. This is how it is here. Don't forget, we are pretending to be a thirsty couple ready to make love anytime, anywhere."
David put his arm around Olivia's waist and said, "The mad dog is here."
That was their target for the night, the head of the gang, "Mad Dog."
Mad Dog, whose real name was Dennis, was a Japanese immigrant. Ten years ago, he arrived in this land and quickly rose among the immigrants through brutal massacres, earning him the nickname "Mad Dog."
Later, Mad Dog joined a major gang. Initially, he found it difficult to fit in, as people of color were always less likely to be trusted with important tasks outside their own gangs.
But with his Japanese humility and precision, he carried out tasks cleanly, demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, and quickly gathered a group of followers. He established connections, recruited fugitives, utilized illegal immigrants, fought against pimps, and streamlined the adult entertainment industry.
Soon, he carved out his own position and business within the gang. The Cool Play Bar was one of his most successful ventures. He even started taking orders on the dark web, engaging in human trafficking and adult auctions here.
This was Mad Dog's rise to power, but also his weakness - he was extremely lustful. Almost every day, at this time, he would come to the Cool Play Bar to enjoy women, not only those imprisoned and trafficked but also professional prostitutes.
However, recently, his tastes had changed. He began to look for prey among the customers. Afterwards, Mad Dog would usually pay a hefty sum to keep things qsext. If things got troublesome, he would shed his gentlemanly facade, transforming back into the Mad Dog, making the trouble disappear.
“Why do we have to kill him? He sounds like a capable gangster,” Olivia asked in a low voice.
"That shouldn't concern us," David said coldly, then paused before continuing, "It's because he's currently plotting to establish a new gang. The minds behind his current gang have decided to eliminate him to prevent him from becoming a rival. If they were to do it themselves and fail, they would face Mad Dog's retaliation. We have a duty to act with integrity, even in failure, to prevent them from getting burned."
Olivia blinked in surprise at David, her eyes sparkling, "David, are you explaining this to me? Are you explaining this to me?"
Olivia had never experienced a moment of tenderness from David. In this moment of explanation, she felt a thaw in David's icy demeanor.
Olivia's heart was melting. One can never wake someone who is pretending to be asleep. She didn't think about David's change possibly being because of Emily, but rather that David might have developed feelings for her.
Her body instantly grew warm, and as David took out his phone to check the home surveillance, Emily was not at home.
'Where did she go? Emily has been acting strange lately.'
Olivia's body went weak as she leaned in. David couldn't afford to be distracted by checking the surveillance while on a mission; it could cost him his life.
Olivia coquettishly said, "David, if I fail, Mad Dog will have people gang-r**e me, brutally abuse and kill me. If you don't see me again, will you be sad?"
"What do you think I'm here for?" David said coldly.
'He's so cool!' Olivia's inner voice cheered. Her heart raced as she was completely immersed in David's cold gaze and tone, until she subconsciously pretended to be drunk and approached a private room.
"What are you doing?" Two burly security guards stopped Olivia.
The slender Olivia naturally twisted her body and held her forehead as if she had a headache from being drunk, "Sorry, wrong room."
"A drunk cat delivered to us," one of the security guards smirked devilishly, "saving us the trouble of looking for one outside."
"Looking for what?" Olivia asked in confusion, but she didn't get an answer.
One of them said, "Don't leave yet." He turned and entered the private room, then quickly returned, saying, "Come in."
"No, I might have the wrong room," Olivia pretended to refuse.
"Aren't you here to have some fun? Maybe this place will make you happier," the security guard smiled, using his strong hand to grab Olivia's shoulder and forcefully push her into the private room.
As Olivia entered, she thought it would be simple to undress Mad Dog, then kill him while he was in the throes of desire. But once inside, she realized it wasn't going to be that easy.
This was Mad Dog's private room, extravagantly decorated with expensive bottles of liquor scattered around, some spilled on the floor. The room was soundproof, as Olivia hadn't heard anything from outside. But inside, it was deafening.
There was no loud music in the room, only the sound of a woman moaning and a group of men shouting angrily. Olivia froze, unable to imagine what was happening in front of her. It was all too erotic.
