"NO!" Amanda refused to let Daniel into the house. Her mum wasn't at home and she didn't want to be alone with Daniel in the middle of the night. "You already see me, right? You can go home now." She turned away and got ready to shut the door on him.
But Daniel managed to grab her hand. "Wait!"
Amanda immediately turned back to him. She frowned. "Why does your hand feel so cold?"
"It's freezing outside." Daniel shivered. He'd been standing out there for hours, waiting for the right time to call her. To tell her he's not leaving.
"You know it's cold outside, then why did you act like a superhero and pose against your car in the middle of the night?" Amanda laughed. He even acted like a real gentleman by giving her his jacket on their way back home. And now he's freezing to death. Serve
