BRENDA EDWARD stared at the document in her hand while her mind was in deep confusion. She was working extra hard lately to pay her ex-husband remaining debt but that day she suddenly received a letter from the debtor's office saying that she got some discount and didn't have to pay for the remaining amount.
"Why on earth did they suddenly gave discount?" she mumbled to herself.
"Who gave discount, mum?" Amanda, who was busy preparing for their dinner, asked from the kitchen.
"I received a letter from the debtor's office. They say we're eligible for some discount and doesn't have to pay for the remaining balance. Isn't it too good to be true?" Brenda explained. Or maybe she just got scammed. The letter wasn't valid.
