"Jack...Jack", Lisa shook me. I came out of my thoughts.

"Yeah", I responded.

"Where had you lost?" she asked.

"Nothing", I shook me head.

"We reached our venue", my beta Liam said from passenger seat. A five star hotel stood in it's elegance before us.

We got down the car and get into hotel. We took our room key cards. Being an alpha I had invited for council conference. There were two werewolf kingdoms. Unlike others, both kingdoms had great coordination and peace. King Samuel Knight was ruling Eastern kingdom while King Judah Wick was ruling western kingdom. North Mountain was in Eastern kingdom near to borders of Western kingdom.

Annual council conferences held either in Royal pack belonged to King Samuel or Blue Sapphire pack belonged to King Judah. This year it was in Royal pack. It was organized by Kings for welfare of our species. Alphas, betas and gammas of every pack should attend this conference. Everyone discuss their problems, suggest new amendments in laws and all other stuff.

I poured myself a drink and stood in balcony shirtless. I could see palace towers from here. May be I was looking at houses, roads and towers but my mind wondering around those beautiful blue eyes and that smile which worth billions. I was trying my best to get her out of my mind. This f*****g mate bond was getting into my nerves. I didn't expect that I would meet her again. Meeting her in Silver Corporation last week was completely unexpected. She was from Grey Lake, second largest pack of country and precisely from Silver family. I saw how excited she was meeting me. I saw a luminescent smile and her blue eyes widened when she felt the sparks. That sparks were most annoying. They were on my skin very long even I left her hand.

I felt a soft hand on my back. I knew the touch. I turned to Lisa. She was in bath robe. She wounded her arms around my neck and pecked my lips which I didn't return.

"You are acting weird from past few days. You are out of the world lately", she said. "Tell me what happened?"

I smirked and placed my hands on her hip and pulled her close. "I met a girl recently", I mumbled near her ear.

"Smart and stunning", I said.

"Better than me?" she asked.

"Unfortunately yes", I said.

"Who is she?" she asked clearly annoyed.

"What will you do knowing?" I asked.

"I will make sure that she won't show up around you again", she said huskily. I kissed her and lead her to bed.

I went to palace along with Lisa, Liam and my gamma Vincent. It's the same conference hall we usually attend every year. Many other packs were already there. There was a large rectangular table and every alpha and their Luna occupied their respective chairs around it. Betas and Gammas sat on next line near to their alphas. Both ends of table reserved for both kings. We went to our places. Meeting was just few minutes away.

Suddenly I smelt my mate. It's mild at beginning and gradually increased. By each passing minute my wolf was getting edgy. I took deep breath trying to calm him down but no use. My breaths filled with her smell and it excited him more.

"Behave", I said to my wolf and he didn't answer.

Alpha Evan, his beta Alex and gamma Ryan entered the hall. Behind them I found my mate. Because of their tall figures, she was completely invisible earlier. She wore black business suit which made her look elegant and presentable. Her eyes met mine and her blue orbs turned to black. Seeing that shade my wolf tried to take over as well. I suppressed him using my utmost will power. That's it, he blocked me again. Stubborn ass.

They occupied their places near to King Samuel's place. She sat silently behind her brothers. By the way, what's she doing here? Whatever. After sometime an elder man from royal council met them. From their gestures I understood they had a good relation with that man. Then I realized former Gamma female of Grey Lake was princess and former Luna was daughter of royal council chief. That made already strong Grey Lake pack to second largest and powerful pack in country.

King Judah along with his son price Xander and other officials entered the hall. Everyone stood up in respect. He stood at his place and addressed everyone. He sat and everyone followed. After a minute King Samuel, Queen Olivia along with Prince Jason entered the hall. Every one paid respects.

Hall was full. Everyone present there. Prince Jason sat beside my mate. She was talking to him. She was smiling too. Even I tried to ignore it, I couldn't it. I felt nudge to my arm and I zoned out of my thoughts. I looked to my side and Lisa looking at me with confused look. I wriggled my brows asking what?

"Where had you lost again?" she asked. I shook my head.

"Then why you are looking like that? Are you okay?" she asked and I nodded.

Alpha Sébastien of Blood Moon pack rose to his feet and greeted everyone collectively. Our packs used to be rivals. Few years back my father and Sebastien wrote a peace treaty. After I took over I continued it. But we never had a good acquaintances either.

"Recently our pack was suffering with atrocities of a new pack. We don't have complete details of that pack. They were rumored to be the pack of hybrids. They were cruel and sneaky. They claimed some part of our forest near my pack borders. They were killing our wolves who ever crossed their borders. We tried to catch them but they killed all my warriors who went to their pack", Sebastien said.

"We caught one of them. They entered our pack at night and attacked on us and get his man out. It's real quick and unexpected. We failed to stop them", Alpha Thomson of South crest pack said, neighbor pack of blood moon. Three other Alphas near blood moon pack explained their experiences with that hybrid pack.

After discussing to other issues, Alpha Evan said, "King, my sister Eva Silver wanted to talk to you all. I hope you will give her a chance", he asked politely. King accepted his request and smiled at his niece. My mate replied the smile.

"Thank you", she said to everyone.

"I'm here representing Rouge pack", she said.

"It will be interesting", Lisa mumbled beside me.

Her topic seemed sarcastic counter to rouge issue raised by Alpha Kane of Cross Stream pack, fourth largest pack of country. Alpha Kane rose to his feet.

"Pardon King. As I knew only high rankers of pack were allowed here. She held no rank and she represented rouges that were threat to own kind", he stated indirectly that she wasn't allowed here. To my dismay it angered me. f*****g mate bond.

"Well, I invited her", Prince Jason said. Kane sat down with annoyed face. Jason and Eva exchanged smile.

"He should stay away from my mate", my wolf said in my mind. Finally he showed up.

"No all rouges were threats", she said.

"With your permission I want to present two of my friends here", she asked. Kings accepted. After 15 minutes a mated rouge couple stood in the conference. Few members glared after smelling them. Strangely my wolf was calm.

"She is Jared and her mate Jay", Eva introduced. They bowed to all.

"Many wolves became rouge because of their helplessness. Not everyone committed sins and expelled from packs. And many reformed and wanted to lead peaceful life. Jared please explain us why you became rouge", Eva asked.

"I'm from dark woods pack", she said.

"My sister and her mate were pack warriors. My alpha once accused my brother in law for a crime which he didn't commit. Without proper investigation they killed him. After few months my sister died due to death of her mate. At that time she had three years old son, Sam.

I started taking care of him. We faced many difficulties in pack. No one treated us good. I started digging truths behind execution of my brother in law. Alpha threatened me to take away Sam from me. At that time I was seventeen and I wasn't qualified to take care of him. I quit my investigation for Sam.

After I turned eighteen I met Jay. He was already rouge at that time. He used to live like human. With his help I started digging up my alpha details. So, my pack officials accused me as traitor and threatened me. I applied for Sam's custody. Using their power, they rejected my applications. I had no other option. I left my pack with Sam and became rouge.

We were living in peace. We never get into any pack affairs. There were many others like us. We all gathered and arranged a place for living. It came under Grey Lake borders. We never troubled their pack. Other packs attacking us even we didn't disturb them."

"They were hunting us", she said that part looking at Alpha Kane.

"I'm requesting laws for rouges", Eva said.

"That's crazy", Kane commented.

"Why?" she asked looking square in his eyes.

'How dare she?' subconsciously I felt proud of her.

"Laws for Rouges?", Kane scoffed. "Really crazy", he chuckled in sarcastic manner.

"Correction. Laws for protection of rouges", she said and added a sweet smile at end.

"I like her", my wolf said.

"When you started supporting rouges?" I asked.

"It's not about rouges. It's about her attitude", he said.

"Killing rouges for no reason is barbaric. There should be a proper investigation for rouges whoever crossed the borders. If they weren't any threat, they shouldn't be killed", Eva said.

"Oh, really? Two months back your brother Ryan killed rouge for crossing your borders. No investigation", Kane spat.

"Yeah... and that rouge tried to kill a pup", she answered.

"I request recognition for this rouge pack", she said. No one expect that coming.

"Recognition for rouges?" King Judah frowned.

"What if they start attacking packs using their laws?" Gamma Steve of Blue fall pack asked.

"Killing rouges isn't any new thing for us", Alpha Zeon commented.

Rest of the time everyone spent discussing pros and cons of Eva's proposal. Most of the time, I couldn't take my eyes off her.
