Sleep With Me

780 Words
Erin was underwater trying to drown from her own misery. Her husband planned it all along perfectly that even her father didn't take her side. She was betrayed but she appeared to be the disgrace of the Mendez family. Where did it go wrong? She asked herself trying to understand the situation only to realize that it wasn't even right since the start. Her marriage with Will Ferguson is nothing, but about her wealth. It's all clear to her now. What could be his other motive? Her father trusted him like he is the legal son instead of her. Will manage their businesses while she was just in charge of the villa doing nothing, part of Will's accusation from the last time. She was slowly out of breath and even underwater she still feels all the pain her husband has caused her. There's no way she could forgive him even if he makes love to her. Her sob caused a big bubble on the surface. Will did not sleep with her even once. On the first night of their honeymoon, her husband flew for a business trip in three weeks. Who is in the right mind would do that? And all other business trips he can reason to her until she can't anymore bring up their honeymoon. How can she be so naive and understanding to believe him and all of his excuses? She decided to tell her father about their setup, but it was too late as she was accused of cheating on her husband with pieces of evidence thrown at her clueless face. Erin took the last piece of her breath if that's what she can call to end it all.  Her father could grieve at once for not believing her own daughter, that's her last thought when someone jumped into the water. She was immediately carried away out of the water, her back was laid on the cold floor and the man shook her. "Hey, Erin. Hey!" He shouted at her at the same time checked her breathing. He positioned her head and started to pounce on her chest. It's only a matter of time that she will be completely out of life if he stops. The man knew the situation he was in, so he did his best to save her. It was the countless blow of air from the mouth to mouth resuscitation that wakes her. Erin coughed so hard clutching her chest in the process. She was saved and she was not grateful for being alive. "Let me die!" Her eyes were still close at that. "Let me die!" She was then started sobbing. "Not now." It was a cold reply from a man that made her eyes snap to open. Erin saw a man all drenched in uniform. He must be her new bodyguard. She looked at him with anger. "I'm Xander Grant, your personal bodyguard." He introduced himself to her. "Please leave," Erin commanded. She didn't want to deal with anyone again who works with Will. "I'm afraid I cannot do that, Mrs. Ferguson." Xander then scooped her from the ground making Erin yelp. "Put me on the ground!" She demanded but it was all unheard as Xander walked toward the villa. She wiggled like a child in a tantrum but her strength is in no match to the man. Xander needs no direction as he is already briefed earlier everything about the villa. Though he was not expecting to meet her in a life and death situation and he could have lost his job right away if he finds her floating in the pool lifeless. Xander pushed her bedroom door and was welcomed by a unique scent of the room. It was so feminine. He did a quick tour and spotted the mini sofa where he could put her. "Leave." She uttered the moment she was laid down. Erin was hugging herself realizing how everything was see-through now. She noticed how Xander shamelessly stared at her body and it makes her blood boil because of his act. "So, what's your plan now?" She asked. Xander looked at his face not getting her question. "Should we take a picture together naked on my bed and send it to my father to make it more believable?" He continued to stare at her as if she was gone mad. How can she tell him that? "Let's cut to the chase, Xander. For sure, Will my husband will be delighted you have it done in no time." She was giving him a wicked look but Xander was shivering from the cold to entertain her further. "Mrs. Ferguson your invitation sounds good, but I would like to keep my job." He then took his step out of her room. "There's only one way for you to keep your job," Erin said stopping him from his track. "Sleep with me."
