Erin was frozen, her mind unable to process what had just happened. Will’s lips were still on hers, insistent, desperate, taking advantage of the few seconds she stood there in shock. His hand pressed harder against her shoulder, urging her to respond, but the pressure jolted her back to her senses. Erin gasped, pushed him away with all her strength, and stumbled a step back.
“What did you just do?” she shouted, her voice trembling with disbelief. Her heart raced, but not from affection—pure anger and confusion flooded her veins. Will didn’t even look apologetic. Instead, he sat there with a small, smug smile, his gaze shifting just slightly behind her.
Erin followed his line of sight and her blood ran cold.
“Xander…” she whispered, the name barely escaping her lips. Her pulse quickened
