AVA'S POV
"Untie her," I heard him say shocked as I wondered Why I was trying to release myself.
"My King, do you mean I should let her go?" The man asked, still finding it out to understand why he gave such an introduction.
"Yes, and take her to the bedroom beside mine," he said coldly with his face showing no expression.
"But my King, she is just a prisoner," the man spoke up, but he yelled claiming he didn't want to repeat himself, and stormed off immediately
I could tell he was totally upset by the fact that I was his mate, I mean who wouldn't be upset, because I wasn't finding it funny at all?
Why would the moon goddess mate me to a Lycan, and not just any common Lycan but the Lycan King? We have always been enemies, for as long as I can remember, so it really couldn't change overnight.
I thought as the man started untying me, and once he was done, he took me to a bedroom which forced me into entering.
"This will be your prison, you are so lucky, and I guess you must like it," he told me, as I just stared blankly at him.
"But don't get too excited that you were giving this beautiful bedroom as a prison, but trust me is for a reason, and you will be dead by tomorrow morning, I can assure you that," he told me, making me sigh softly, as I realized that might be my fate.
"Enjoy your night," he said, smiling as he finally stormed out, shut the door behind him, and locked it up.
I hate what is happening right now, and I wish I could do something about it. I thought within me and started approaching the bed.
I have always hoped to find my mate, who was going to help me in ruling my people, and also take out the Lycans who wouldn't stop attacking us.
But now I was mated to a Lycan, and I don't think I could ever accept that. I can't even think of introducing a Lycan to my people as my mate because they were all looked up to me.
I didn't plan to disappoint them this way. I thought as I finally stopped, and faced the king-size bed.
"This is so big," I murmured under my breath, while still, I stared at the king-size bed before me.
After having my seat, I took the opportunity to glance around the bedroom for a while, totally surprised at how beautiful the bedroom was.
"The Lycan must be really rich to have given the bedroom to a mere prisoner, just like the man has called me," I voiced out, as I couldn't help, but continue glancing around totally forgetting my sorrow.
DYLAN'S POV
I couldn't sleep the entire night as I was wondering why my mate was a werewolf, despite how much we hated each other. But I really couldn't help but admire how beautiful she was.
I already felt so attracted to her from the very moment I set my eyes on her. I was overwhelmed by her, and to be honest, I really love the fact that she was my fate mate, so I see no reason whatsoever that would make me let her go.
I sent for Charles immediately, as I needed him to talk to the warriors who had been waiting all night to kill her.
I was just so unbalanced right now, and I didn't mind killing anyone of them who would mention to me about killing her.
I knew I wasn't going to allow anyone to go free, I wanted them to have a taste of the death they wanted for her.
"My King you sent for me?" Charles' voice came up, snapping me out of my thoughts immediately.
"Yes, I did, come and have a seat," I said as he walked up to me immediately, while I made him sit beside me.
"The plan has to change," I told him, making him sigh softly as he stared at me.
"What plan?" He asked me, curiously, as I cleared my throat.
"The Alpha of the Moon Valley Pack was brought here last night, but we can't kill her," I told him, realizing I had sent him to do something last night while the warriors went on the mission to kidnap her.
He cleared his throat, before facing me fully. "Why? Does she possess any special abilities or what?" He asked me curiously, as I shook my head.
"Please my King tell me why you say we can't kill her?" He asked me, as I quickly looked away from him, and walked towards the window.
It's not easy to tell him that, because every single person in this kingdom knows about the plans to end the werewolf'sack for good, so it would be shocking news to them about the change of plans.
"My King, why aren't you saying anything, I'm so curious to know what is going on," he spoke up, snapping me out of my thoughts, and making me swallow hard, as I face him fully.
"I don't know how you will react after I have told you why I can't kill her," I paused for a while, and glanced at him once more, to observe him.
"Just tell me, my King, because I'm so curious right now, and I can't hide it," he told me truthfully, making me sigh softly, as I faced him again.
"I can't kill her, because she is my mate, and you and I know how long I have been looking for my mate," I voiced out, as I saw his eyes widen in disbelief.
"What? How is that even possible?" He asked me, still finding it hard to believe.
"I also acted, just as shocked as you are right now, where I found out last night," I told him, making him sigh softly.
"So how are we going to tell the people about this new development?" He asked me, while I just kept calm.
