DYLAN'S POV

After killing all the intruders who entered my territory, I decided to return home, totally leaving Charles and the warriors to clean up the mess that I had made.

Right now I felt like being with my mate and having her for once for the first time. My wolf didn't help make me leave her.

Since the very day, I brought her here, I have been having the urge to have her, I mean who wouldn't be all over such a beauty like her?

She looks brave, courageous, and strong, and she is the kind of mate that I wanted for myself.

I have already made it known to my people that I have a mate, and she was a werewolf.

They tried to talk about the enmity that existed between us, and I told them the moon goddess wanted to put an end to the conflict and that was why she made us mate, which they all agreed with me.

Since then I have been trying to make my mate accept me, but she has been so stubborn towards me.

I don't have any plans to give up on her anytime soon, I'm already so obsessed with her, so I will do all it takes to make her mine and mine alone.

I thought as I walked into the chamber, but found it empty, making me gasp immediately after I realized it.

"Where did she go?" I asked no one in particular, as I rushed over to the bathroom, but also found it empty, and just then, I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder, and then my legs.

"Oh no she is in trouble," I growled immediately, as I stormed out of the bedroom, as I made my way into the woods together following her scent as it led me deep into the woods.

"I'm coming to get you, just hold on please," I voiced out, feeling pained and sad that she was really in a bad state right now.

"I would kill whoever is responsible for this torment she is going through right now," I tightened my fist, as I continued running into the woods and realized she might be in great danger.

I could feel our mate bond slowly fading away, as I continued running, and transformed in the process, so I could go faster.

I really can't forgive myself if anything happens to my mate, so I need to be sure that she is not found before anything else.

I kept following her scent in a hurry, as I finally stopped behind a tree, hearing voices.

"Hey people, the mighty Alpha of the Moon Valley Pack, is in our midst, let's pay her respect," I heard one of them say in a mockery manner, as they all burst out into laughter.

I scanned around if I could see her, and just then my eyes caught sight of her lying on the floor with a pool of blood, she growled faintly, and I could tell she was really in pain, making breakfast feel so sad immediately.

"We are so excited to have you love Alpha in our midst tonight," another one said in a mock manner, as they all break out into another round of laughter.

"Why don't you tell us how mighty you are now, as an Alpha," the first one spoke up again.

"Yes, please Alpha, we want to see you in action," they chorused, making me tighten my fist as if I have had enough.

"Come on Alpha, Don't be weak, as an Alpha isn't supposed to be weak in any way, or are the people of Moon Valley Pack weaklings?" The first one said again, as they all started laughing again.

Seeing my mate in pain, I couldn't stand it anymore, as they continued mocking her, not willing to stop, making me want to take them all out, right now.

"Boss, let's just kill her so we can get going," I heard one of them say, making me growl in annoyance.

"Did you just mention kill?" I asked, as my eyes turned red, and my nostrils also flared, while I walked closer.

"Who the hell are you?" The first one asked me, while I just hit him, as I waited for the others to attack me. Which they did almost immediately.

I beat them all up, a killer, the one who had mentioned killing my mate because I just couldn't spare him no matter what.

I made sure I inflicted so much pain on the other, which made them plead for mercy apologizing for what they had done, while I just sighed softly and let them escape, as I walked to my mate.

She glanced at me and I could see the pain in her eyes, as I carried her onto my shoulders wanting to leave but rather the mansion was so far away.

I remembered a hut in the woods where an old friend of mine lived and I quickly took her there.

He gave me a first aid kit, before excusing himself claiming to have a night hunt of which he would be back in the morning.

"Thank you, my friend," I mouthed to him, while he just smiled and walked out of the hut leaving just me and my mate all alone.

She was still bleeding badly, as I started attending to her wound, and within a few minutes, I was finally done.

"Here get changed into this as your clothes are ruining," I said, stretching out my shirt to her, which she took, and I turned around as she got changed.

We both sat together on the little wooden bed, as I stared straight at her, as my lips became so tempting to me.

My wolf also stepped in, making it impossible for me to stop myself, as I quickly crushed my lips on her, kissing her deepened with so much passion in my eyes, as I did that.

I waited for her to push me away, as I knew she was going to do so since hated me so much.
