I suck in a deep breath in an attempt to calm my nerves as I make my way down the stairs. I don’t think anyone notices as I enter and I immediately scan the room for Russell. I find him conversing among a group of older looking men. He looks very attractive with his hair slicked back and wearing an all black tux. He raises the glass to his lips and his eyes notice me across the room. I hear my heart thump in my ears as I watch him do a double take. They are then glued to me and trail my body from my head to my feet. I felt naked the way he took his time to take in every aspect of me.
