The next few days passed surprisingly smoothly. Somehow, Will and I managed to maintain the delicate balance: teacher-student at school, boyfriend-girlfriend at home.
At school, we kept things professional, and at home, our moments together were blissfully private. Nothing seemed out of control, and I allowed myself to believe we could keep it this way.
Will was an exceptional student, always attentive and participating in class. His brilliance surprised me every time, and I found myself proud of him. By Friday, my supervisor came to observe my teaching, expressing satisfaction with my progress. He encouraged me to continue working hard, calling me a promising intern.
