*** "You ready?" Aiden asked, looking over at me. His eyes were gleaming with amusement. "Ready as I'll ever be." He chuckled softly and gestured for me to follow him. He led me upstairs and through the hallway to a room at the very end of the hall. It seemed to be one of the guest bedrooms. There were twin beds, a desk, a dresser and a chest of draws by each bed. Aiden shut the door behind me. "This is my room. I usually have my workroom downstairs, but sometimes I sleep in here." "Where does your workroom lie exactly?" "The third bedroom on the left, down that hall." "Does it also have a balcony?" He nodded, a soft smile appearing on his face. I smiled. "I think it would be nice to have our own space. Our house is big enough, but I'm not sure what we'll be able to do in here."
