Once they arrived at her flat, Mattie led him into her room and closed the door behind them, leaving the lights on, letting the room flood with light. The air grew thick between them and her breathing grew labored as she waited for him to make the first move. She nervously shifted from foot to foot, her hands gripping and unclasping at her sides as her heart rate increased. Finally, he cleared his throat and walked towards her. He reached for her face with his large hands and brought his lips to hers in a searing kiss.
