Chapter SixThe next day Hoyt got a call from Detective Sergeant Leroy Chandler at the 60th Precinct in Brooklyn asking him to come by. The request was semi-formal and he was told to tell his partners that he was picking up some Odessa files. He wasn't quite sure as to where this was headed. After all, Chandler had sided with the team when he discussed the cash kickbacks with Hoyt. It would have made more sense for Chandler to have called Clyde, John or Kent and excluded Hoyt from the meeting.
Along the drive to Brooklyn he kept thinking about his visit to Sabrina's last night. She seemed pretty defensive and his heart went out to her.
