Anna stood and went over to sit on her mate's lap; Amber didn't need her anymore. She had her mate, and Anna was happy for them both.
"Amber, what would you like to do first?" Anna asked her.
"Well, I want to get in touch with my family," she replied, "especially since my uncle is supposed to be at the meeting point. I need to make sure everyone else made it there safely. I want my uncle to wait for them."
"Why don't I place a call to the Alpha King while you get cleaned up?" CJ suggested. "Anna can get you something to wear for now."
Anna stood up and walked over to Amber, holding her hand out. "Come, I'll take you to our suite. You can shower, and I'll loan you something for now."
Amber got up and left the room with Anna, causing AJ to grumble.
"She'll be back before you know it,"
