It was around 9 pm. The more time was floating by, the more the dusky clouds were bulking up in the horizon. A growling sound of clouds had already begun, indicating that it could start raining at any moment.
The whole atmosphere had a sullen appearance compared to the other days when the ambiance was usually jovial, since it's the springtime.
Holding up tighter, sleepy and snuggling Sophie on his broad shoulder, Nathan was walking gallantly towards the way leading straight to her home.
Soon enough, he reached her apartment complex in a moment. He took a deep huff of breath while looking at the building and glanced back at her sleepy face.
"Sophie, wake up. We are already near your home." In a soothing voice, he tried to wake her up from her snooze.
