Standing behind her, Lucas cast a sly compliment towards her, giving her a wicked smirk.
"Mr. Lucas?" Sophie seemed much surprised to find him there out of the blue as she gazed at him in wonder. She took a small glance around her, but the lane was completely desolated.
Nathan, who was present there just a moment ago, had probably already left.
