The phone in the office rang, after 2 min of ringing. The boss picked up the call “yes?” his voice boomed with authority. “Boss they are on their way back, they would be here in 10 min”. “Good, send me the details about his family” he simply replied. “Yes, boss” was the reply, and the call was disconnected. He closed the book and opened his laptop. Soon he received his desired mail, he opened it and started to go through it. “Some people never learn, and I had been so generous killing his son only after cutting his arms” he sighed. He was still busy in his thoughts and scrolling through the received file when suddenly he saw eyes, eyes whose color was emerald green, eyes which seemed to drown him in their depth. He was stunned, how long has it been since he was attracted to something like this. But what piqued his curiosity most was that only eyes were visible in that picture. He then read the name whom these eyes belong to. “hmm, so you had a daughter whom you had been hiding” he muttered. He was brought out of his thoughts by ringing his once again. He regained his composure and answered, “What is it now?” he said obviously pissed. The person on the other side of the call stammered “B…boss, t... they a... are h… here. T... they a…are g…going t…towards t…the t…torture-cell, wha....what d…do y...ou w....ant u..u...us t...to do?” he barely completed his sentence. “tell them to wait there, I would be there soon” he replied visibly calm than before. “Yes, boss!” another person replied, letting out a breath that he was holding. “And max, tell Leo to come to visit me ASAP” these were the last words that max heard before the call was disconnected.

In a couple of minutes, Leo was back in the study, “You called for me boss?” he said gently bowing, trying to assess the mood of his boss. “Yeah, what do you know about his daughter?” he asked with a voice void of any emotion. But he couldn’t fool Leo, they had been together since no one knew him. Leo had seen his journey from nothing to what he is today, he had seen people call foul names with disgusted faces, he had seen him nearly starve to death. He had once seen him smile genuinely, he had seen him become ‘die könig’(The king). But people knew him with another name ‘die gnadenloser könig’ (The ruthless king). Leo was shocked because, in the past 12 years, he had never seen him talk about any girl. “We just found out that he has a daughter. All the info that we have about her has already been sent to you” Leo replied, carefully looking at every movement of his boss.

“Do you have any interest in her?” Leo asked. “No nothing like this” his boss replied. Leo came close to his boss and muttered slowly “You can`t hide such things from me, little brother” he winked after saying this. “Let`s go, everyone is waiting for their die gnadenloser könig” he said emphasizing his last 3 words. And waited for his brother to get up. Once they were close enough, his brother said “Leo, I hope you have not forgotten that no one should ever know about the relationship. I don’t want anyone to harm you because of their enmity with me” he said in a tone filled with care and love. After all, Leo was his one and only brother. He loved him like a father loved his child. Leo held the same feeling for his brother as well. “Are you saying you doubt my skills, little brother?” Leo replied with an amused expression. “I trust you with my life, Leo, how can I possibly doubt your skills” he stated. Hearing this Leo chuckled “And people call you ruthless, let`s go before your grim reapers become impatient” Leo said regaining his composure. With this, both left the study and went towards the torture cell.

Soon they were standing in front of a shed, No one would believe that in the shed was the gateway to hell on Earth, after all, none that went inside came out to tell the tale. They entered the shed, and there was a staircase that went deep into the ground. After the stairs was a network of tunnels. And one tunnel led to dungeons, a place so horrible that it may very well be called the hell on Earth. Leo led the way as his boss followed him. They entered the dungeon and started to move towards the end of the dungeon. And there was a door made of steel, steel so thick that you may do whatever you want, but no one would hear even a faintest of voice on the other side of the door. Leo knocked on the door thrice, and after waiting for a moment, the door opened while making a screeching voice.

As soon as the door opened, Leo saw the same old man sitting in the center of the room, his hands and legs tied but still, he had that same old smirk on his face as if he was the one who had kidnapped them. Leo entered making way for his boss to enter. “Finally, I get the privilege to see die gnadenloser Konig. The man whose mere presence is enough to strike fear into the hearts of the demons” the old man said as soon as his eyes landed on the figure standing in the door. He could tell why the man standing in front of the eyes was feared throughout the underworld. His presence oozed power and authority, even though he didn’t utter a single word he had every single person in the room submit to him. “And here you are looking at me straight in the eyes” the boss replied sarcastically, he rarely saw someone who could look straight into his eyes and talk back. He was slightly amused. “well, I am not one of the devils, and I never said angels were afraid of you” the old man replied in the same tone. “Even the angels would fear me once I am done with you. Though it is a bit ironic that you consider yourself an angel, after all, you did” the boss replied, but this time his tone was deadly. He had an evil smirk on his face. “If I was afraid of you, then I wouldn’t have tried to assassinate you” this time the old man was serious. “looks like you underestimate me. I gave your son an easy death, but after this, I have lost each, and every ounce of sympathy I had left for you wife and daughter” the boss said emphasizing his last word. The old man suddenly felt a shiver run through his spine; he had never thought that his daughter would be found out. Now he was a bit worried, but he knew that his baby girl was safe, or so he wanted to make himself believe. But how could someone escape the devil? “You would never be able to touch her you son of a bastard” Old man roared; he couldn`t keep his composure after listening to him speak about his daughter. “I don’t intend to only touch her,” the boss said, looking straight into his eyes: Eyes filled with fear for his daughter`s safety and rage towards the man who took away his son. And was now threatening to take away everything that he loved. “I should have killed you the day my best friend took you in,” the old man said, his body shivering due to anger. “I should have killed you and that best friend of yours” he continued now looking towards Leo. “Are you seriously trying to make sure that your wife and daughter face a fate much worse than what they are already going to face?” Leo said, shaking his head a little. “Though I am sure my brother would never hurt innocents, not as long as I am alive,” he thought to himself.

After hearing what Leo said, the old man didn’t utter a single word. He just stared at his captors. “What happened? Cat got your tongue?” the boss said in a sarcastic tone. His eyes full of amusement, making others beg for forgiveness and making sure they suffered even then, was what amused him most. But he was able to keep himself under control due to his brother. Leo looked at his brother and knew that if he didn’t stop his brother soon, then it would be too late. The fact that the old man was still able to talk was that boss respected him after all this old man was the best friend of their savior. If it were someone else in his stead, god forbid what the boss would have done to him. The old man still didn’t reply and kept his gave on the boss. Boss felt uncomfortable and moved a bit closer to the old man. When he was standing in front of him, he said “the death of your son wasn’t my fault…...” but before he could complete his sentence, the old man spit on his face.
