Chapter 1

GRAYSON POV

My name is Grayson Knight I am a CEO of a

Knight Inc. a company I inherited from my father and this is a story of how I met my lovely husband.

It all started like a normal ordinary day I was busy in a meeting at that time when I received a text from dad about a party he was hosting at an expensive restaurant like he always do.

Since we get along so well I replied that I will be there and their was nothing suspicious I could suspect that he was plotting something.

After the meeting I made my way to the office to get ready for the party without knowing that this day will forever change my life.

When I got to the restaurant were the party was being held there was nothing important only that he introduced me to a lot of people most of them being single noble men and women from rich family.

I have gotten used to it by now and he has been bugging me to have a really partner so I can settle down with and not to sleep around like I do but I think it's boring to only have one partner.

But it never occur or crossed my mind that the way he was acting, like getting me drunk or when I said I was not interested in settling down he was plotting something in his mind because his face showed the disapproval of my decision but I didn't think much into it but I wish I did because the next day it was when I knew it was his doing

"Hmmm!my head,what happen" I groaned as i messaged my head.

I turn around only to find some stranger sleeping next to me.

"Who the f**k are you" I said looking at the stranger next to me.

A lot of things were running through my mind and as I try to convince myself that maybe it's Andre but come to think of it Andre would never sleep next to me.

I moved closer to look at the person who is sleeping next to me only to find out its a guy I don't know.

He looked Pretty though but the question I have is why is he in my bed.

Something told me to look under the bedsheets and behold I didn't have any clothes on me only a thin bedsheets below my waist.

"s**t where the f*ck are my clothes"I was naked! oh please tell me i didn't have s*x with a total stranger and not one of my f**k buddies.

"Who the f*ck are you" I yelled at the guy next to me while shaking him vigorously.

He open his eyes only looking puzzled " where am I, what am I doing here and what have you done to me" he said while pulling the bedsheets to his chest and looking around the bedroom.

" Why are you asking me, I should be asking you; your the stranger here"

I can't answer him because I my self don't really know what happen actually but I know we f****d I can't remember most of the things and come to think of it this room is not my room.

"I don't know what exactly happen but am very sure we f****d" I said like it's nothing important. I looked in my finger only to find a ring and the same ring I saw in in this guy's finger.

" why the f**k are we wearing matching rings" I said looking at the ring in my finger.

He was afraid to move and his hands were shaking while looking at the ring.

I need to get the hell out of here and find some answer or find someone from the party who can explain what actually happen yesterday.Don't panic I only need to call Andre he will know what happen last night and sought this mess out.

I turned to grab my phone on the night stand only to discover my worst nightmare " marriage certificate" ok this is getting serious."Hello,Andre oh man am in big trouble! do you by any chance know what happen last night" Nothing ever pass him he likes to gossip.

" What are you taking about! except you getting married last night everything was normal" I didn't expect him to react this way who gets married to a stranger overnight and calls it "normal".

"Are you kidding me, How can getting married to a total stranger be normal Asshole"

"Where you present when I was getting married to this dude" I asked while massaging the bridge of my nose feeling frustrated.

"Yes I was I couldn't miss it for the world, the way you were kissing and touching him it seemed like you two were in love and you couldn't wait to go down and get dirt, you guys were all over each other and you almost f****d in front of the whole guest" What! that really happen I must have been drugged.

" But you are my friend you were suppose to stop me when am doing something crazy" some friend he is.

" Dude I did try to talk to you but guess what I got in return! you punched me when I tried to stop you and your Dad said I shouldn't try anything stupid" wow! I was really out off it wait what Dad was in it.He has to be otherwise why would he warn him not do something stupid.

"Hahaha Sorry for punching you Dude, but how can I be married and who is this guy I was married to"

" I don't know him but I had seen him yesterday, he was the one who won that scholarship from your company but you should ask your Dad he may know him well since he was also at the party maybe he invited him as well" Dad,i caught you old man I knew you were in it too.

"Andre can I call you back" now to call Dad

" Hello, if it isn't my lovely Son, how may I..."

"Cut the chase Dad! What did you do last night at the party" now I was fuming because he is the mastermind in this marriage business.

"Hello to you too! I notice you have forgotten your manners and to answer your question I don't know what you are talking about" really he is playing the innocent game.

" I don't know him but I had seen him yesterday, he was the one who won that scholarship from your company but you should ask your Dad he may know him well since he was also at the party maybe he invited him as well" Dad,i caught you old man I knew you were in it too.

"Andre can I call you back" now to call Dad

"Dad I know you were involved in me being married last night "

" Oh about that yes am responsible and I set everything up since you leave me with no choice" I was stunned.

" Dad couldn't we have talked about this first,this is my life were are talking about" at least

" You left me no choice I had to take matters into my own hands since you want to finish all the boys in this city"

"I have given you so many choices to chose a nice bride but you showed no interest what was I suppose to do; wait for you to do what! you are 32 years now you need to think about the company"

"But Dad..."I while whining.

"No buts the wedding has already taken place just enjoy the marriage life besides the boy I chose for you is nice and have good manners he will be a good Son in-law,He will make a good husband to you he can change you just be good to him give him a chance"

I stayed quit listening and surveying my predicament.

" I had to get you married against your wish because our investors wanted to pull out their shares because my so called son was sleeping around destroying the company reputation and image, you better treat him nice or you will have problems with me" I guess am really a married man now.

"Bye Dad but this is not over! I will come over to talk about this"

"Okay I will be expecting you to come and visit with your husband! Bye I love you Son remember what I said treat him nice or else" yeah! I got it Dad.
