Alpha Bryer

Alpha Bryer Lyla lived in The Wood River Pack. The ruler of the pack was Alpha Bryer Reyes. Alpha Bryer was a powerful man. He was extremely muscular, covered in tattoos, and so gorgeous that women in the pack swooned over him. He had his eyes on one woman though: Lyla Moore. She was all he wanted and he would have her. He always gets what he sets his mind to. He sat on his throne, listening to cases of residents of the pack that sought him out to resolve their disputes between each other. Some of the cases were for minor crimes. "She keeps cutting my trees," complained the one man. "Those trees are on my land,* the woman argued. To Alpha Bryer, this was just noise. He couldn't concentrate on their arguments. All he could think of was her. The most beautiful woman in the pack. Sweet, compassionate, soft, gentle, she was the balance he needed in his life. She was the perfect Luna for him. Now, he just had to figure out how to approach her. He didn't want to mess this up. He only had one opportunity to make a first impression. After hearing the pack members disputes, four 'o clock came and he dismissed those remaining and told them to come back tomorrow. He walked over to Lyla's house and knocked on the door. She answered the door and his breath hitched at seeing her beautiful form grace the doorway. She wore a red dress with a tight bodice and a skirt portion that draped down to mid-thigh. Her hair was pinned up with little tendrils framing her face and shoulders. Her fragrance was overpowering him with desires. Desires that he struggled to control. "Hello Alpha Bryer. What can I do for you?" she asked. He had a few ideas, but he dare not say the suggestive thoughts that meandered through his head. He wanted her so bad "Hello Lyla, I was wondering if you would go on a date with me tonight," he asked. She thought for a moment an then said, "Yes, I'd love to," she said with a warm, inviting smile. She made his heart melt. He couldn't believe it! She said yes! He was overwhelmed with excitement. He tried to keep his cool as he said casually, "Great, I'll pick you up at six." He then walked away smiling from ear-to-ear and looked back at her, leaning in the doorway, wind blowing through her hair, her blue eyes looking back at him with such intensity. He could easily lose himself in those eyes. That evening, at six, he was at her door, ready to pick her up for their date. He was dressed in a white, button down dress shirt and black pants. He held a bouquet of a variety of flowers, all different shades of red. He knocked on her door and she answered. This time she was wearing a short black dress with spaghetti straps and black heels. "Ohhh, thank you," she said. He almost forgot he was holding flowers for her. He was so taken aback by her beauty. "You are so kind." "And, you, my Dear, look ravishing," he said as he handed her the flowers and she put them in a vase with water. She then thanked him and went to leave with him. As she walked by him, that scent of hers put him under a spell. It was so addictive. They walked hand-in-hand to the river where he had dinner by candle light set out. The smile on her face at seeing this made his heart shine with love. Oh, she was lovely. He pulled out her chair for her. A server standing by offered to pour them each chilled champagne. "This so magical! I love it. Thank you," she said as she reached over and squeezed his hand and smiled warmly at him. Chills ran up his back and down his arms. He was so taken with her that his very body reacted to her mere touch. "Your very welcome, my Dearest. I would do anything for you." A violinist nearby played a melodic song as a slight breeze blew through the treetops and the moon shone high in the sky. She started small talk as they sipped champagne. "So, how do you like being Alpha?" "I like it very much. I was made for this position. All I need now is a Luna," he answered. "You are reputed well among the people. Morale is high and we all love you as our leader," she added. "That is very kind of you to say," he said as he touched her hand on the table, sending those chills everywhere again. He had such a magnetic draw to her. He wanted her more than he had ever wanted anything before. "Do you have family that you are close to?" she asked. "I am close to my mother. I was close to my dad, as well, before he died in the war against those damn vampires ages ago. There is a peace treaty now, but I worry that one day that will break," he replied. "I am sorry about your father," she said with true sincerity. "What about you? Any close friends or family?" he questioned. "I am closest to my sister, Lana, and my best friend, Wren. I was somewhat close to my parents. We've had our rifts before though, too. I suppose every family has them," she explained. They continued chatting, sharing information about each other until the server came and took their order. He even arranged to have the Chef make them menus so it was like the fine dining experience except outside, by the river. She ordered the filet mignon and he ordered the Waygu beef. They continued sharing stories about their past, laughing and chatting. Food arrived and it was exquisite. Everything was perfect. He wanted more than anything to show her to an amazing evening and everything was perfection, especially her. She was the epitome of hat a Luna should be. She had grace, charm, beauty, eloquence, and a sincere sweetness to her. He loved her.
