  Jade   "Don't tie your hair up," Devon's sudden voice buzzed through the room, causing me to flinch, my hands freezing halfway with the tie in my grip.   "Wait, what?" I looked at him bewildered. So his attention wasn't on his laptop as he was pretending? Instead, it was on me? Damn him! He almost made me believe that his focus was solely on his work.
